Terms & conditions
Deposits: We require a 50% initial non-refundable deposit to secure the order. Your deposit is only refundable if WE must cancel your order for any reason that is at no fault of your own. If you have an unforeseen circumstance such as a family emergency that causes you to cancel, your order date can be changed to a later date, but not refunded. If transferring the deposit to another date, new order must be placed within 60 days of the original date, and the new date must be within 90 days of the original order date. A $10 date transfer fee will be applied.
Final payment: Final payment is due one (1) day before the order due date. We reserve the right to cancel the order if payment is late, unless discussed and agreed upon. Please communicate any issues you may have with payments. Payment arrangements can made be in advance to suit your budget, as long as payment is made before your cake leaves my possession.
Rush orders: Requests made 7 days before due date may be subject to rush order fees. Fee starts at 10% of the total cost and increases by 5% per day starting 7 days prior to the date of delivery or pickup. (ex: Request of the order on 5/23 and is needed by 5/25, with a total cost of $100, will have an additional $35 attached to the total cost of the order, which should have begun on or before 5/17 to avoid all rush order fees) Increase does not stop until deposit is paid.
**Please note that with rush orders, getting exactly what you want may not happen due to limited supplies. Certain toppers, molds, custom sprinkles, etc. may need to be ordered, and could take more time than given to come in.
Changes: We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes that are made 7 days before the order due date. Please note- extra charges may be added dependent upon what the change is.
Cancellations: Cancelled orders will be refunded minus the deposit and any monies already spent on supplies. If a cancellation is requested after work has been started, there will be no refunds. (invoices of supplies already purchased, and photo proof of work already started may be available upon request)
***Allergies: Please inform of any food allergies. Eggs, Dairy, nuts, and wheat products may be used in cakes if not informed otherwise.
Non-edibles: Our cakes will occasionally include non-edible items on or in the cake. We’ll let you know which pieces cannot be eaten. It is your responsibility to ensure they are removed before serving.
Cake design: We cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work but will ensure the look is similar.
*Please note: whipped frosting in summer months have the potential to melt and is NOT advised. Please be aware that your cake may not look the same way when you pick it up as it did when the cake was initially finished.
Delivery & pick-up: Delivery cost depends on the distance from Maumelle, AR and the size of the cake. Delivery in Maumelle is free. Anything outside of Maumelle is subject to a delivery fee, even if we are meeting at a place other than the place of the event.
*Once an order is no longer in our care (delivered or picked up) we take no responsibility for any damage caused.
Media: We reserve the right to use all photographs of the cake for advertising purposes.
